With our growing product line, it can be confusing to determine which product should be used for which situation.

Our original Rug Gripperproduct is designed to hold rugs and mats in place over any floor surface. It is removable and releasable, and ideal for a temporary hold. You can pick up and move your rug or mat, along with the Rug Gripper product anytime you’d like, and it will not harm your rug or the floor underneath.

Opti-Grip®, on the other hand, is a double-sided tape that has a very aggressive adhesive. It is used in commercial applications to install carpet, vinyl, cove base, and other flooring accessories. It is not releasable or removable and is considered a permanent installation product.
